In recent years, sociological research into the condition, needs, and activities of the deaf community in Bulgaria has commenced. The objective is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the needs, characteristics, and challenges faced by deaf individuals in our country.

We take pride in representing this community and in our involvement in research, which has provided insights we previously did not have. By gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves, deaf culture, identity, behaviors, and social dynamics, we can better organize our future endeavors to leverage our knowledge, skills, experience, and guidance effectively. Our aim is to foster a strong, active, educated, unified, and respected deaf community, ensuring equal rights, opportunities, and accessibility alongside our hearing counterparts.
